USEFUL INFORMATIONS

PDF writing aid > Adobe InDesign

1. GENERAL WINDOW

Set the “Adobe PDF Preset” tab to factory setting “[Press Quality]”.

2. GENERAL WINDOW

Set the “Compatibility” tab to “Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3)”.

3. COMPRESSION WINDOW

If the below settings are visible to you, do not make any changes to this window.

4. MARKS AND BLEEDS WINDOW

Please set the areas marked with red accordingly to the settings indicated on the picture; if you use a 5 mm bleed, please set “Offset” and “Bleed Limit” to 5 mm!

5. OUTPUT WINDOW

Set “Colour Conversion” to “No Colour Conversion”; this setting assumes that all pictures used in the publication are in CMYK mode!

6. ADVANCED WINDOW

Set “Transparency Flattener” to “[High Resolution]”.

Do not make any changes to the "Security" and "Summary" windows.
