USEFUL INFORMATIONS

PDF writing aid > Corel Draw

1. PUBLISH TO PDF WINDOW

Set “PDF Preset” to factory setting “Prepress”.

2. GENERAL WINDOW

Set the “Compatibility” tab to “Acrobat 4.0”.

3. OBJECTS WINDOW

Set “Bitmap compression” to “JPEG”, quality to “High” (“2”). Tick the “Export all text as curves” box.

4. DOCUMENT WINDOW

If the below settings are visible to you, do not make any changes to this window.

5. PREPRESS WINDOW

Please set the areas marked with red accordingly to the settings indicated on the picture; if you use a 5 mm bleed, please set “Bleed Limit” to 5 mm!

6. SECURITY WINDOW

If the below settings are visible to you, do not make any changes to this window.

7. ADVANCED WINDOW

If the process involves four-colour printing, tick the “Convert spot colours to process” box. In “Colour Management” please tick “Composite printer profile”.
